WEATHER BLOG: Mini-Heat Wave

A July mini-heat wave is underway, as we will see another three days over 90 degrees and heat indexes of over 100 in many places. Code Orange air quality will also be in effect for Thursday. We do have an increased chance of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow, and an even better chance on Friday. That will help clean up the air, and give us temporary relief from the heat. The real change will come later Saturday and on Sunday, with lower humidity and cooler temps, too. Take it easy these next few days! Hydrate and stay in a cool place!
