Authorities say Aleman was walking along the highway in suburban Evendale on March 29 and pulled a knife after the Glendale officer approached. Aleman was shot in the abdomen. The officer wasn't hurt.
Authorities say Aleman was wanted by Baltimore County police in Maryland in connection with a March 17 stabbing death.
Aleman's attorney, Brad Fox, says his client sought the plea agreement.
