Six Flags America Closed After Receiving Bomb Threat

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Authorities say Six Flags America in Prince George's County is closed after the park received a bomb threat.

County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady tweeted Wednesday that county fire and police are at the amusement park in Upper Marlboro while the bomb squad investigates. He says members of the squad determined that one suspicious package was not explosive and they are investigating a second package.

Park spokesman Roberto Baez says the park, which usually opens at 10:30 a.m., received a bomb threat Wednesday morning and the park is currently closed. He did not have any other details.
