Adam Jones Wants Orioles Fans To 'Be Happy, Be Positive'

Adam Jones joined Jerry Coleman, in for Vinny & Rob, to talk about what he did during the All-Star break, where the Orioles are headed in the second half of the season and about his impact on the younger generation.

The Orioles center fielder took his time off to truly relax and didn't pay too much attention to the television, but he did appreciate the speech that was given by LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony on the gun violence and brutality in America right now. Jones also shared what advice his gives to the kids at the Boys and Girls Club.

But back to baseball, Coleman commented on the Orioles recent struggles on the road, but Jones shared this comeback:

"We're still in first place to start the second half and I think we should start on a positive note and say that 'Hey, we have a chance to do something special' and we're playing for something again. You can point out all the bad things, but point out the good things. We're in first place. As of right now, be happy we're in first place. One week you can go from first to last, but right now, just be positive with it and give us a good jolt going into the second half and going into tonight's game."
