Ken Davidoff Of The New York Post On The Orioles Vs Yankees Series Which Starts Tonight

Ken Davidoff is a baseball columnist for the New York Post.

Ken joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Orioles taking on the Yankees in the start of a three game series tonight.

Ken started off by talking about the Yankees and whether they'll be buyers or sellers at the deadline saying "common sense says they'll be sellers, if you look at their run differential you'd say they'd be lucky to have that record." As for the feeling among Yankees fans Ken said "I don't communicate with every fan but I communicate with a good portion of them and I think most fans are ready to give up and get some young pieces for the future."

When asked to name the main thing that went wrong for the Yankees this season Ken said "they were counting on their old hitters and their young pitchers, and neither side came through...all those guys have earned a D or worse, if they had earned C's they'd be in the race."

Ken also went on to talk about the season the Orioles have had so far and whether or not they can maintain with what Ken calls "the best Manager in baseball" in Buck Showalter.
