Deadly Crash Snarls Traffic on I-95 in Baltimore County

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A deadly wreck knotted traffic on northbound Interstate 95 just past the exit to I-195 in Baltimore County Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

At least one person was killed in the crash, which was reported before 3:30 p.m., when at some point, a vehicle left the road and slammed into a tree.

The wreck shut down the on ramp from I-195 to I-95 and also closed off one of the northbound lanes, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation.
