Ken Singleton On Pitching From Aroldis Chapman And Kevin Gausman

Ken Singleton, a former professional baseball player who is now a member of the Yes Network for Yankees broadcasts, joined Ed and Steve to talk about last night's Orioles game with the Yankees and the rest of this series.

Ken started out by talking about Aroldis Chapman throwing a pitch at more than 105 mph last night and if it's the fastest he has seen him pitch saying, "yeah, this year he has hit 103 and 104 a couple of times...one reason he throws so hard is if you watch his mechanics they're just about perfect."

When asked about whether wins and losses have become an overrated stat in the MLB Ken said, "there always seems to be one guy on every staff that doesn't get any run support...[on Gausman] he's a good pitcher it just seems like it may not be his year."

Ken also talked about Ryan Flaherty and Aroldis Chapman exchanging words late in the game, and the toughest hardest throwing pitchers he faced during his career.
