Unexploded Military Device Closes Roads Near Laurel
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A surprising find in Anne Arundel County lead to several road closures in the area Wednesday morning.
Contractors at a construction site discovered an unexploded military device on Laurel Fort Meade Road near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway around 8 a.m.
The bomb squad, a hazmat team and county firefighters worked to dispose of the device, and roads were reopened around 10:15 a.m.
