Police Recover Loaded Gun, 200 Prescription Pills During I-95 Traffic Stop

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Police recover a gun and pills following a traffic stop on I-95 on Wednesday.

MDTA police say on July 20, they arrested 35-year-old Barry Grove Jr. on SB I-95 after he was following a vehicle too closely.

Authorities say Grove failed field sobriety test and when officers searched his vehicle they found a loaded .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol with an altered serial number and 200 prescription pills, including OxyContin.

Grove was charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses.

After processing, officers transported Grove to the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Facility for an appearance before a District Court Commissioner. He was held on $300,000 bail.
