The Norris & Davis Show Best Of - Week Of July 23rd

This week's edition of the Norris & Davis Show Best Of includes interviews with U.S. Olympian Matt Centrowitz on his son's quest for the Rio Olympics, and O's reliever Brad Brach on his All-Star season.

MATT CENTROWITZ

Matt started out by talking about his son Matt Centrowitz Jr and qualifying for the Olympics saying "he's the most decorated American in the mile ever as far as medal count and championships and hopefully he'll put the finishing touches on at the Olympics." As for what's more exciting his Olympic experience or watching his child Matt said "I'd say watching him, I'm 60 years old when you're younger you take things for granted and think they'll always be a next race but the father's perspective is a much different perspective."

Matt went on to talk about his son coming very close to a bronze medal at the London Olympics, his experience at the 76 Olympics and his relationship with Caitlyn Jenner.

BRAD BRACH

Brach started by talking about the illness running rampant through the clubhouse lately saying, "it seemed like right after the All-Star break guys just didn't feel good and it's a 48-hour thing that knocks you down and takes away all of your strength."

Brach also talked about Kevin Gausman not getting run support and how frustrating that is saying, "It's just one of those things that makes no sense, maybe it gets to the point where everyone recognizes it and they start to press a little harder."

Brad went on to talk about being an All-Star for the first time and the unbelievable experience of being a part of that game.
