WEATHER BLOG: Looks Like Hottest Day Since 2012

Temps in spots have made it well into the upper 90s this afternoon… and with the added humidity, it has felt over 100 degrees for much of the day. Today looks like the hottest day since the summer of 2012 (we had multiple 100+ days in 2012). A few showers and t-storms will push through this afternoon/evening followed by high pressure building in on Sunday. The airmass tomorrow will be slightly cooler tomorrow, but not by much. There will be a lot of warm advection tomorrow night and Monday, so Monday is looking like an extremely hot day once again.
