Skeletal Remains Found In Vacant Baltimore Home Identified

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After skeletal remains were found in a vacant building in the 100 block of E. North Avenue in Baltimore in June, police have identified the deceased as a 35-year-old man.

Though police also released the man's name Friday morning, they soon retracted the information, calling the release premature.

An autopsy has determined that the man was killed by blunt force trauma.

Police say they were originally called to the home around 3:30 p.m. on June 15 after someone found the remains.

Homicide detectives are investigating this murder and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
