1 Person Dead After House Fire In Bowie

BOWIE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say one person has been found dead inside a house that caught fire in Bowie.

Prince George's County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady says the fire spread from the garage to the two-story home Sunday evening.

Firefighters say they entered the house to find someone who was unaccounted for, but "hoarding conditions" limited their ability to extinguish the fire and search for that person.

Investigators found a body inside the home after extinguishing the flames.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the unidentified person's cause of death.
