Police Searching for Missing Columbia Boy

UPDATE: 12:50 a.m. Missing Columbia boy, De'vonte Terrence Mauric Jordan, found safe and unharmed.

 

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- Police in Howard County are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Columbia boy.

Police say De'vonte Terrence Mauric Jordan, 9, was last seen leaving his residence in the 9400 block of Two Hills Court at approximately 6:30 p.m. after a disagreement with a family member.

Jordan's family alerted police, who are concerned for his welfare due to his age.

Officers, aviation and K9 have been searching for the Jordan, but have not yet located him.

Jordan is described as a black male, four feet six inches tall, 61 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with the writing "Champ Camp," black shorts and blue shoes.

Anyone with information should call 911.
