Record Temperatures Set Near DC

Baltimore (WJZ)– Multiple temperature records were set Sunday at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington DC.

Yesterday the area saw a record high temperature of 100 degrees. That ties the old record of 100 set in 1943.

The low temperature record at Washington National was 80 degrees. That ties the previous daily warm low temperature record of 80 which was set in 2002.

Records at Ronald Reagan National Airport began in 1941.
