Police Searching For Suspect In Shooting At 7-Eleven
CLINTON, Md. (AP) -- Police are searching for a suspect they say fatally shot a man during an attempted robbery at a 7-Eleven store.
The shooting occurred early morning at the store in Clinton.
Prince George's County Police say officers that responded found 31-year-old Taiwo Oduwole of Upper Marboro who had been shot. Oduwole was taken to the hospital, where authorities say he was pronounced dead.
Police say they believe the suspect was trying to rob the store.
Police say they think the suspect also robbed a hotel in Clinton shortly after the shooting.
Authorities are offering up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
