Police Identify Cyclist Killed In Friday Truck Accident

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The bicyclist who died after colliding with a pickup truck in Upperco Friday afternoon has been identified by Baltimore County Police as 42-year-old Christopher Ruffin Elliott of the 5800 block of Western Run Boulevard.

The preliminary investigation indicated that Elliott was riding a bicycle, traveling east-bound on Dover Road around 3:46 p.m., when he moved to make a right turn onto southbound Byerly Road, lost control, and struck a 2017 Ford F550 truck that was stopped at a stop sign

Elliott was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
