Seven Orioles To Compete In Arizona Fall League
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Most of the nation will be paying attention to MLB postseason, some of baseball's best minor-league players will also be playing games, but in front of much smaller crowds.
The Arizona Fall League, which runs from mid-October through mid-November, features many of the game's best prospects in one six-team league.
The AFL's preliminary rosters included seven Orioles:
Jesus Liranzo, RHP
Tanner Scott, LHP
Jimmy Yacabonis, RHP
Austin Wynns, C
Adrian Marin, SS
D.J. Stewart, OF
Another pitcher is expected to be added at a later date.
