81-year-old Woman Struck & Killed In Crash Involving Motorcycle

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--An 81-year-old woman was struck and killed while walking along West Northern Parkway in Baltimore on Wednesday afternoon, according the the Baltimore Police Department.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Northern Parkway.

Police say Sarra Abramovich was walking southbound along the road when she was struck motorcycle.

"The female pedestrian emerged from the northwest corner of the roadway at the 5600 block of Narcissus Avenue, walking towards the center median," police said in a news release.

Abramovich was transported to Sinai Hosptial where she later died.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the accident.
