Dog Sniffs Out Miracle Puppy Left for Dead in Dublin

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A puppy just days old is rescued by another clever dog after she was left for dead in a pile of garbage, according to The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA).

The DSPCA says the dog named "Poppy" made the discovery while on a walk with its owner.

"Autumn is only seven to ten days old and would not have lasted probably even 24 hours if she had not been spotted by a very clever terrier called Poppy who when out for a walk with her owner ran over to the rubbish pile and refused to return when called."

Baby Autum is now under excellent care and will be able to grow up to be a happy healthy dog with an owner who wants to care for her.
