Olympic Gold Medalist, Maryland Native Kyle Snyder To Throw First Pitch

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Prior to Saturday’s 7:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays, U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist and Maryland-native Kyle Snyder will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Snyder took home gold in the Men’s Freestyle 97 kg Wrestling event in this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio, becoming the youngest U.S. Olympic wrestling champion at the age of 21.

Snyder grew up in Woodbine, Md., and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School.
