Baltimore Ravens 'Pay It Forward' In Partnership with Verizon

BALTIMORE (WJZ)— You may have seen some of the Baltimore Ravens' finest paying for your tolls on Monday.

It's all part of the 'Pay It Forward' campaign with Verizon Wireless and the Ravens. The program is a season-long "Surprise and Delight" campaign designed to celebrate the Baltimore community and spread goodwill.

Some players surprised drivers at a Royal Farms gas station in Eldersburg, Maryland earlier this morning and 400 people driving through lane #8 and #16 of the Ft. McHenry Toll Plaza got a free pass when they ran into Justin Tucker and Justin Forsett.

"It's been crazy, a lot of shock, sense of awe," said Forsett. "Some people still trying to give me the cash, they're not comprehending it's free today, it's been a cool experience."

Over on lane #8 superstar kicker Justin Tucker says people have been awesome.

"I don't think there's been one person who hasn't had a big smile on their face, it's been really cool," he said.
