BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Ravens veteran outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil has been sidelined for a while after an offseason foot procedure, but he could return to practice this week.
The Ravens originally activated Dumervil from the physically unable to perform list on Aug. 22, and he practiced for a few days, but returned to the sidelines after suffering a setback in his recovery.
Elvis Dumervil has told reporters the last two weeks that he’ll be back “soon.”
Head Coach John Harbaugh told reporters Monday that “it’s not too premature” to think that Dumervil has a chance to play this week.
Last year, Dumervil was the highest ranked Raven on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2015 list, coming in at number 46.
