Hotel Fire Forces Evacuation In Howard County

COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) — A hotel fire forces occupants to evacuate in Howard County.

It happened Friday at the Extended Stay America in the 8800 block of Standford Boulevard in Columbia.

Crews were called to a fire in a laundry room dryer on the second floor of the building.

All residents are expected to be able to return to their units. There are no reported injuries.
