Police: Baltimore Student Found With Gun

BALTIMORE (AP) — Officials say Baltimore City School Police officers found a gun on a student.

Local media outlets report that the school district says the gun was found on a student Tuesday at Friendship Academy of Engineering and Technology. The weapon was secured and was not used to threaten anyone.

More information about the student or the circumstances hasn't been released.

School district officials say the student who brought the gun will face possible expulsion.
