After a disappointing loss to the Redskins last week, the Ravens made some changes to their offensive coaching staff by letting go of coordinator Marc Trestman and bringing in Marty Morninwheg. One of the main things that many fans wanted to see more of is deep passes from QB Joe Flacco.
Early in this week’s game against the Giants, the fans got their wish. Flacco dropped back from his own 26, and launched the ball down the middle of the field in the direction of second-year receiver Breshad Perriman. Perriman, despite being blanketed by double coverage, leapt up and hauled it in.
The Ravens would go on to get a Justin Tucker field goal on the drive giving them a 3-0 lead.
