All AFC North Teams Lose During Sunday’s Match Ups

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Although the Ravens suffered another loss on Sunday afternoon against the New York Giants, they are still in the running to be the division leaders once again with the Pittsburgh Steelers only one game ahead.

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) – The Steelers lost to the Miami Dolphins 30-15. With the torn meniscus Roethlisberger suffered during Sunday’s game, he will fail to play a full 16 games for the ninth time in 12 years as the full-time Steelers starter. The injury could impact his presence in the game against the Baltimore Ravens on November 6.

Baltimore Ravens (3-3) – The Baltimore Ravens’ losing streak is marred by injuries and turning into an ugly flashback of the 2015 season when the team went 5-11. The Ravens went 4-0 in the preseason, but that was before half the offensive line was sitting on the sidelines. The team hoped the new offensive coordinator, Marty Mornhinweg, would give the team new life, but even after coming out strong on Sunday, the Ravens felt the wrath of penalties, incomplete passes and poor play calling in a 27-23 loss to the New York Giants.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) – The Bengals lost their fourth game in five weeks and fell to the Patriots. The Patriots have also now won six straight regular season home games against the Bengals, and have not lost at home against Cincinnati since 1986. Third place in the AFC North, the Bengals will face the Browns next week, followed by a London match up with the Washington Redskins.

Cleveland Browns (0-6) – It wasn’t a complete blowout, but the Browns ultimately lost to the Tennessee Titans 28-26 and are still last place in the AFC North. The rookie QB Cody Kessler had one of his best outings as a Brown on Sunday. The team has been unable to keep any of their three starting quarterbacks healthy over the first few weeks of the regular season.

The NFC East is the only division where every team has a record of .500 or better. The AFC North remembers.
