Joe Flacco Back To Practice, Sunday Will Be Game-Time Decision

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --  Quarterback Joe Flacco did not practice with the team on Wednesday or Thursday, but that doesn't mean he won't be starting on Sunday.

Flacco will get an MRI on his shoulder after suffering a few too many hits during Sunday's game but says, "It's nothing to worry about."

The Jets announced they'll be using their backup quarterback Geno Smith on Sunday against the Ravens. If Joe Flacco does not play this weekend, the Ravens will look to Ryan Mallet to lead the Ravens to a victory before the bye week.

Harbaugh said, "I'm going to feel very confident if Ryan Mallet is out there. It's my belief [Joe] will be out there. But if Ryan plays, I'll be excited about the game."

The other starters not practicing were: linebackers Terrell Suggs (bicep), C.J. Mosley (hamstring) and Elvis Dumervil (foot); wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. (ankle), guard Marshal Yanda (shoulder) and cornerback Shareece Wright(hamstring). The others who were absent were: returner Devin Hester (thigh) and cornerback Jerraud Powers (groin).

UPDATE: Ravens coach John Harbaugh said it was "encouraging" to see Flacco back at practice today, Friday, October 21. But he did not say whether Flacco will take the field. It will be a game-time decision. "I'm not going to put any labels on it," Harbaugh said.
