Mistrial Declared In 'Public Enemy No. 1' Murder Case
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A mistrial has been declared in the case of a man accused of killing his friend, according to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun.
Charles Henson, who Baltimore police dubbed "Public Enemy No. 1," was charged in January with first-degree murder.
Police say Henson fatally shot Davon Johnson after the two had a dispute in the 2300 block of Walbrook Avenue.
They also suspected Henson of setting a fire at Johnson's home nearby to intimidate witnesses. He was never charged in the fire.
"While we are disappointed in today's outcome, we will remain relentless in our pursuit of justice for the victim and his family," the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office said in a statement Friday.
