Shareece Wright Talks Ravens Bye, Moving Forward And Tackling Cancer

Shareece Wright joined Scott and Jeremy to discuss the Ravens bye week, his current health issues and more.

Despite the current losing streak, Wright explains the Ravens are still optimistic going into practices and aim to enter each new game fully prepared. The Ravens bye week comes at what seems like a perfect time as multiple Ravens are in need of some time to heal before facing the Steelers next week.

"With the guys that we have banged up at this point in the season, coming off this bye week is very important for us to get away for a little bit, clear our minds and get ready for the long stretch we have coming up," said Wright.

The Ravens suffered through a 5-11 season last year and want to avoid going through that again. Wright said, "we want to be at our best going into November and December."

When he's not on the field, Shareece Wright aims to use his platform as a NFL player to take a stance against cancer. Wright created his own group in support of Team Purple and will donate two tickets to the Ravens vs. Browns game on Thursday, Nov. 10 to one lucky donor. For more information about Shareece's promotion, fans should visit Shareece24Wright.com.
