BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A West Virginia man died in a car crash in Howard County early Saturday morning after hitting a deer.

Around 4:30 a.m., John C. Trippe, 48, was traveling westbound on I-70 near Route 32, when his Nissan Altima struck a deer. Trippe was still on the highway when a westbound tractor trailer, driven by Michael Bradeley, 35, struck the Altima, ejecting Trippe out of the car.

Both the tractor trailer and the car went off the road into a ditch.
