Two Dead, Four Injured In Capitol Heights Shooting

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — Two people were killed and four people were injured during an early morning shooting in Prince George's County. Now, a massive manhunt is underway for the gunman who killed the two, both teenagers, and injured several others.

The violence broke out just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning at Regency Lane apartments in Capitol Heights.

Both victims are very young -- 14 and 18 years old. Police say they don't think this is a random shooting. They're trying to figure out who did it and why. Gunfire erupts in the dead of night, as six people shot were shot in a apartment complex parking lot.

Homicide detectives finding the lifeless bodies of 14-year-old Todd James Webb Jr. and 18-year-old Brian Davis.

"There's evidence techs still collecting evidence. We have witnesses we're still interviewing but it's pretty massive. There's a lot of parts that are moving right now. We're hoping it all falls into place as quickly as possible," said Prince George's County Police Lieutenant David Coleman.

Of the four surviving victims, two remain in the hospital including and adult man in critical condition. The other two victims have been released.

Keisha Goodwin was jolted from her sleep by the commotion.

"I was a little confused because this is a tight knit community so everybody pretty much knows each other. For something like this to happen, is just crazy to me,"  said Goodwin.

Police say their investigations shows signs that the violence was not random and the group was targeted.

Crime scene detectives take several bullet riddled cars from the scene as neighbors comfort each other and wait for answers.

"Somebody knows something," said Goodwin

There is a $25,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest. Police are trying to pinpoint how many people were involved in the shooting.
