2 Arrested For Destroying Trump Campaign Signs In Columbia

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 20-year-old and a 17-year-old from Columbia have been charged after Howard County police say they destroyed a Trump campaign sign on Ruth Keeton Way on Sunday.

According to investigators, the owner of the sign confronted the suspects -- 20-year-old Francis Oswaldo Zelidon and an unidentified 17-year-old -- and argued with them shortly after noon that day.

He then took cell phone photos of the suspects and provided the pictures to police. Officers located and arrested both of them.

The 20-year-old, of Grand Banks Road, is charged in a summons with destruction of property, disorderly conduct, 2nd degree assault and disturbing the peace. The 17-year-old is charged with destruction of property.
