This year will be a little different. Back in June, the NFL announced that they will be going back to the AFC vs NFC format versus choosing teams. Each conference will be led by two captains, one offensive and one defensive. Bettis (offense) and Lewis (defense) will lead the AFC, while Gonzalez (offense) and Woodson (defense) will lead the NFC.

This year, the NFL is collaborating with Disney and ESPN to provide a more youth-friendly, family-focused entertainment product.
