19-Year-Old Carroll Co. Man Arrested for Child Porn

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Maryland State Police have arrested and charged a 19-year-old Sykesville man for possessing and distributing child pornography.

In April of 2016, officers conducted an online investigation involving child pornography and the internet address led to the arrest of David A. Esmond Monday in Carroll County.

A preliminary review of the Esmond's computer indicated it held as many as 25,000 image and or video files of child pornography.
Esmond was transported to the Carroll County Central Booking Center for processing and to await an initial appearance before a court commissioner.
