Facebook Users Log On To Find Out They're 'Dead'
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- People are logging on to Facebook Friday to learn that they are "dead." A glitch appears to have caused Facebook to trigger memorial alerts on some users' timelines.
These very much alive people are posting screenshots of the messages they were greeted with when logging on, which read:
Remembering [Name]
We hope people who love [Name] will find comfort in the things others share to remember and celebrate [his/her] life.
The social media giant has not yet commented.
