WEATHER BLOG: Chilly Night

A large area of high pressure is controlling the weather pattern across the Northeast today bringing us plenty of sunshine… but cool conditions. We are gearing up for a rather chilly night with clear skies. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low/mid 30s around central Maryland and even down into the upper 20s for the suburbs (north and west). You will definitely need to bundle up if you plan on heading out early Sunday morning. A *freeze warning* is in place starting tonight at 10pm through 9am Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon, however, will end up being milder than today with temps forecast in the low 60s. Our next chance for rain won't arrive until Monday night into Tuesday.
