BPD Arrests 18-Year-Old With Loaded Handgun, Suspected Drugs

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police in Baltimore City have arrested an 18-year-old on handgun and narcotics charges.

Officers first began to approach Charles Paxton in the 4400 block of Park Heights Avenue. He walked away into the 2700 block of Borman Avenue. As the officers got closer, Paxton began to run.

Officers later found Paxton with a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, 15 Ziploc bags of suspected marijuana and 25 baggies of suspected crack cocaine.

He is now in Central Booking, where he has been granted a $75,000 bail.
