Mother, Boyfriend Charged With Murder Of 1-Year-Old Baby
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police have arrested and charged 30-year-old Brian Johns and 26-year-old Brittley Brown of the 2600 block of Shirley Avenue with the murder of their 1-year-old son, Jayden Johnson.
On August 30 at approximately 5:52 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Shirley Avenue for a report of a child not breathing.
Upon officers arrival to the location, they found Baltimore City medics performing CPR on the boy.
He was transported to Sinai Hospital where, despite doctors' efforts, he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was malnutrition, dehydration and blunt force trauma.
On Monday, warrant apprehension detectives arrested Johns and Brown. They both face second-degree murder charges.
