Man Injured In Drive-By Shooting In Baltimore County

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police in Baltimore County are investigating a drive-by shooting in Parkville Sunday night.

Police say a man came to a local hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The adult male victim was outside in the unit block of Morrislea Court in the Ashlar Hill area of Parkville, around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Police say they received calls after multiple shots were fired at the victim from a moving vehicle, striking the victim at least once.

Police say they do believe the victim was the intended target of the shooting.

Police do not know how many suspects they're looking for, though they fled the scene in a vehicle of some kind.

The victim is expected to survive his injuries.
