Baltimore Police Officer Charged With Assault, Misconduct
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore City police officer has been indicted on assault and misconduct charges.
The case was observed during a routine review of body camera footage, according to police.
Investigators noticed Officer Donald Gaff using what appeared to be unjustified force while arresting a man.
Police say the incident occurred on September 11, in the area of East Patapsco Avenue.
Gaff has been served with a criminal summons. His police powers have been suspended.
The footage of the incident has been turned over to the State's Attorney's Office.
