'Tis The Time For Christmas Trees At Carroll County Farm

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- It's a busy time for Maryland tree farms across the state. At the Davidson Tree Farm, they have over 30,000 trees to choose from, some up to 18 feet tall, catering to both families and businesses.

It's that time of the year to bring home the perfect Christmas Tree

"We look forward to it," said Jim Stevens, Baltimore.

For the Davidson Christmas Tree Farm in Carroll County, it's been a constant flow of customers

"It's been very busy, Black Friday was booming and it's been a great weekend so far," said Nick Davidson, Davidson Tree Farm.

In business for more than 50 years - the family-owned farm offers thousands of styles to choose from

"A lot of firs, Douglas, Fraser, we also have some more unique ones like the Korean fir," said Davidson.

Selling more than 200 trees a day

"It's a full-time job, pruning and everything, so we have to be ready for this time of the year," said Davidson.

For the Stevens family, it's their sixth year visiting Davidson

"The whole family comes out, we make a day of it, search all of the trees," said Jennifer Stevens.

A yearly tradition at their favorite farm, Christmas wouldn't be the same without.

"Merry Christmas! Happy holidays!"

The farm hopes to sell more than 4,000 trees over the next few weeks.They're open until December 23rd.
