Parents Of Sandy Hook Victims Create New PSA On Gun Violence

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The families of the Sandy Hook school shooting victims have produced an unsettling PSA on the reality of gun violence. The PSA aims to increase awareness of gun violence, and encourages people to look for signs of people in trouble who may commit violent crimes.

It starts out as a sweet story of high school boy named Evan, but there are several hidden clues throughout the video.

The PSA promotes the "Know The Signs" program that encourages gun violence education and prevention. It also addresses some examples of signs of people who may hurt themselves or others -- aggressive behavior, bullying others or being a victim of bullying, and expressing a strong interest or obsession in weapons and firearms. The program is working towards promoting better gun control and implementing anti-bullying and mental health programs.
