Midshipmen Pumped for Annual "Beat Army" Pep Rally & Bonfire

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Excitement and anticipation is building for Saturday's Army-Navy matchup in Baltimore.

Cadets from west point and midshipmen from the naval academy will take over downtown for the 117th Army-Navy game.

Navy has beat Army 14 years in a row and their hoping they can pull off another victory this weekend.

Dozens packed Farragut Field for the annual "Beat Army" pep rally and bonfire.

The Naval Academy drum and bugle corps, Navy football players and cheerleaders pumped up the crowd of midshipmen for the big game this weekend.

This will be the 117th meeting of the two teams.

A rivalry steeped in honor and tradition.
