City Police Investigates 2 Overnight Homicides; 299 Homicides

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- City police are investigating two overnight homicides in East and Northeast Baltimore.

Friday night around 11:58 p.m., police responded to the 1100 block of Curtain Street for a report of an unresponsive person. The man was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around 1:21 a.m. early Sunday morning, an officer was conducting a vehicle stop in the 2700 block of Harford Road when he heard several gunshots to the south.

Officers located a 26-year-old man in the 2600 block of Harford Road who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police learned the victim was shot by an unidentified suspect and then walked out into the street where he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
