Actor Alan Thicke Dead at 69

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Actor Alan Thicke has died at the age of 69, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The Canadian actor is best known for his role as Jason Seaver on the '80s sitcom Growing Pains.

He suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter. He was pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, California.

Thicke recently appeared on season two of Fuller House, as well as the pilot episode of NBC drama This Is Us.

He is survived by wife Tanya Callau and three sons, Brennan, Robin, and Carter.
