Former Ravens Tight End Dead at 29 After Brain Aneurysm

BALTIMORE (WJZ) - Former NFL tight end Konrad Reuland died Tuesday at the age 29 after suffering a brain aneurysm last month.

Reuland's brain aneurysm occured on November 28, and was scheduled to undergo surgery the next day.

Reuland played college football at Notre Dame before transferring in 2009 to and later finishing up at Stanford where he was Indianapolis Colts quarterback's Andrew Luck's teammate.

Reuland came into the NFL as an undrafted free agent rookie by San Francisco where he played for one season. He then played for the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts before joining the Ravens in November of 2014.

John Harbaugh spoke about Reuland in his post game press conference following their loss to the New England Patriots early Tuesday.

"We lost a Raven today" Harbaugh said. "I just want to offer condolences to his family. We love Konrad Reuland. Every single guy in the locker room loves him."

Reuland was 29 years old.
