Police ID Suspect Accused Of Shooting At Mondawmin Mall

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police have identified the suspect accused of shooting at another person at Mondawmin Mall.

Santee Taylor, 42, is charged with attempted murder, along with various assault and weapons charges.

Taylor was initially detained for shoplifting, according to Baltimore City police. He escaped, and was chased by several employees.

When Taylor reached the mall vestibule near Shoppers and Marshalls, detectives say he pulled out a handgun and fired at least one shot in the direction of store employees.

No one was struck.

Taylor is currently being held at Central Booking.
