Man Found Guilty After 2014 Attempted Murder Of A Police Officer

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — After multiple mistrials — a man charged with shooting a city police officer is found guilty. On Monday, Gregg Thomas was found guilty of the attempted first-degree murder of sergeant Keith McNeill back in 2014.

The shooting happened outside an auto shop in east Baltimore. McNeill is now wheelchair-bound. This was the fourth time Thomas was tried. The three prior ended in mistrials or the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict. Thomas will be sentenced in May.
