1 Dead In DC Construction Site Trench Collapse

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- One person is dead after a trench collapse at a D.C. construction site, according to Fire and EMS Chief John Donnelly.

Crews had been attempting to shore and stabilize the trench to prevent further collapse after the initial entrapment was reported around 10:30 a.m.

It happened in the 4600 block of Dexter Street NW.
